It’s September – my favorite month. Summer heat and humidity finally come to an end and my hair settles down. Sunsets are spectacular. Kids go back to school, taller and closer to getting their driver’s license or becoming better drivers. It’s a time to run into your friends and their kids at Staples, buying notebooks and five binders in different colors, seeing who’s gotten their braces off.

Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) is in September, a time to reflect on the past and make plans for the future. September is when I review my resolutions yet again, and get a jumpstart on making new ones for the next year. The leaves change, schedules change, objectives, resolutions and budgets change, and I’m reminded why Change is my favorite “C” word.

What changes are you embracing this season?
