March may come in like a lion
and go out like a lamb,
but April comes in with the lyin’ (April Fools)
and goes out with “I CAN” (Pay it Forward Day).
It’s also National Poetry Month, so I’m honoring the sonnet with a stanza of my own.
April is the time for renewal. The first quarter of the year has passed, so it’s a great time to make course adjustments. For me, this means looking more deeply into who I am and where I’m going. I want to continue to be out in the world, connect with everyone, and make a difference. Since my trip to Africa and because of some recent healthcare work I‘ve been doing, I have decided to expand what I do to partner with clients in global healthcare, public policy and philanthropy.
